With more than three decades of experience in the industry, Tom is known for his successful track record of client-focused service and delivering on time. Along with his brother Mike, Tom took over Teschner & Sons from their father in 1983, and continues to deliver on his promises with the same level of teamwork and commitment to service as he did 30+ years ago.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & SECRETARY
Expanding on a family tradition, Mike oversees the day-to-day operations of Teschner & Sons Painting. Mike and his brother, Tom, acquired Teschner & Sons from their father in the early 1980s. Having provided best-in-class painting and wall covering services for more than thirty years, Mike has the tools and resources to administer exceptional leadership to the Teschner & Sons team. His dedication and expertise will continue to spur the company growth and development into the next three decades
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
With 20 years in the construction industry - including Chief Financial Officer for a development company, general contractor, and subcontractors - DeAnne’s experience ranges across all aspects of CFO functionality; from accounting systems, to risk management, to leadership consulting.
DeAnne’s experience and skills are critical to the effective financial management for Teschner and Sons Painting clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.
PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Mike specializes in all types of wall covering and spray finishes, with 32 years in the industry. Before joining the Teschner & Sons team, he completed a formal Apprenticeship at Washbourne Trade School in Chicago. Mike’s impeccable project management skills and dedication to customer satisfaction ensure projects are completed on budget and on time. Versatile and experienced, Mike is OSHA 30 Certified, RRP Certified, and Aerial Lift Certified.
PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
With more than five decades in the industry, Rod brings a wealth of expertise in the areas of painting, wall coverings, and operational management. Since Rod joined the Teschner & Sons team in 1999, he has served as a key Project Manager/Estimator; taking jobs from bidding to final billing, while demonstrating a keen focus on detail and customer relations. Rod has a mentored several Project Manager/Estimators and contributes valuable insight in the company’s development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from National Lewis University, is a 29-year Naval Reserve veteran, and is an active participant in community activities.
SUPERINTENDENT OF FIELD OPERATIONS
Don has more than 40 years of experience in the painting trade! For 25 of those years, Don has served as Superintendent of Field Operations for the Teschner & Sons team. Possessing a vast spectrum of painting and wall covering knowledge, Don has proved to be invaluable to the operation of Teschner & Sons. Don is responsible for hiring the trade personnel that produce the high quality of work our customers have come to expect. Certified in several OSHA safety courses, Don serves on the company Safety Committee and insures OSHA compliance on all our job sites. His paramount goal with every job is to finish each project within budget for a satisfied customer.
